Kävlinge is a small town strategically situated in the growing Region of Øresund.
In 2007 Gehl Architects were engaged to develop a masterplan framework for the
redevelopment of a centrally located industrial area into a diverse living environment
of approximately 1500 households, workplaces and services.
Due to this being a major change for Kävlinge a series of workshops were held
with the local authorities, politicians, the client and other consultants to bring
focus to the Life-Space-Buldings approach and create a better understanding of
the conditions in Kävlinge.
