HÅLLBAR STAD
08. May 2012
Sustainable cities are created and run by the Museum of Architecture as part of our commitment to be a platform for discussion between different professions and the public. They provide content that turns to any interested party, regardless of prior knowledge. NUDA has joined as partner to Hållbar Stad.
There is a site for conversation and knowledge on sustainable urban development,
a forum for exchange of ideas and a collection of good examples of how a more
sustainable society can be created. Sustainable City is a tool for anyone who
wants knowledge, information and experience of sustainable urban development.
Sustainable City contains information on both a lighter and a more advanced level,
in order to fit different types of users and is a collection of examples of how
we can create a more sustainable society. Sustainable City is for both of professionals
from different sectors of society as a layman at various levels. Sustainable City
is also a forum for dialogue between these different user groups.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Sustainable City aims to systematically collect and disseminate knowledge and
information across sectors, an interested public and policy makers. By creating
a common place where good examples, discussions and ideas are collected, the goal
is to make sustainability understandable and interesting for everyone.
We want to inspire and engage people, governments and organizations in their
work, but also linking them with each other. The goal is to create a platform
where key projects, best practices and important research results reach a larger
audience.
TARGET GROUP
Our target audience is anyone who cares about how we are today and tomorrow are
creating a sustainable society, based on the built and designed environment. It
may include experts from various sectors, policy makers as well as the general
public and schools. With a diverse audience of this kind, we hope to capture and
bring a discussion in more parts of society.
