" Design quality of life in a modern economy "- the motto will be fifth edition of the international conference" Innovation and creativity of women "was held on March 22-23 .
The honorary patronage of Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski . Conference
will be held in Warsaw - the first day in the Column Hall of the Sejm, the second
- the seat of the Stock Exchange. The conference will bring together speakers
from Europe, Asia, North America, Africa, Australia, business representatives,
science, administration, and designers.
The event will be simultaneously translated and broadcast on the Internet.
The event is organized by the Patent Office in collaboration with the World Intellectual
Property Organization, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, the
Warsaw Stock Exchange and numerous institutions and partner organizations.
This year's theme of the conference concerns the impact of design on the wider
quality of life. Design is now one of the main elements of business strategy and
an important factor affecting the competitiveness of the economies, their position
and importance in a globalized world. Panel discussions at the conference will
focus on include:
design processes and responsibilities of the designer,
design information,
creativity and functionality in a public space
design protection in a competitive economy,
impact of design on the market position of the company.
This issue is of particular interest to those considering starting their own
business and small and medium enterprises. The conference also aims to draw attention
to the need to use the enormous intellectual potential of women in a market economy.
