The Cities of Tomorrow

The Cities of Tomorrow aimed to set focus on urban design in general terms, and discuss the necessity of urban design as an important tool in the management of city planning.

Keynotes participated from UK, Denmark and Norway.

The inaugural Nordic Urban Design Conference took place in Bergen, Norway, 17th February 2006. The conference was intended to promote urban design and introduce urban design as a profession within the Nordic countries as well as formally establishing NUDA as a Nordic organisation concerned with the development of our cities. The scope of urban design was introduced through various case studies and international projects.
