Customized training CUSTOMIZED TRAINING program
outline
The Customized Training Program will be offered to each of the six cities which
was involved in the pilot project initiated by the Ministry of Environment or
Property Development Companies (PDC)handling complex waterfront development projects
in need for assistance. The training is a one day intensive hands-on workshop
consulted by leading majorities in waterfront development.
The program has a total timeframe of one month, meaning each of the cities/PDC
will have the opportunity to forward the pilot project summaries for an analysis
amongst the chosen majorities, and this analysis will be given a summary and presentation
in an open plenum at the customized training event.
The outcome of this analysis should be:
A comparison of the projects with nordic and international projects
The comparison will scale the level of complexity and display how the pilot projects
have managed the challenge
The analysis will provide an insight of norwegian planning methods and techniques
which will be of great value to Synopsis participants
The analysis will mount in a general advice in what direction should be taken
to avoid bad practice
This is a consultancy program offering an hands-on opportunity to be advised
by leading international experts about best practice in waterfront development.
