NUDA is a non-profit organisation which aims to gather qualified urban designers from the Nordic countries as members for the purpose of stronger promoting urban design as a necessity within city planning.

The city of Stavanger is situated on the south-western coast of Norway and is
the country's fourth largest city with ca. 125.000 inhabitants. Stavanger hosts
the head quarters for Norway's major energy companies and is often referred to
as The Energetic City.
The Stavanger-region is continuously growing and offers
extensive job opportunities, university education and a wide variety of cultural
events.
Stavanger was European capital of culture in 2008.
