Håkon has since 2004 been growing his attention towards the integration of different
professions to better define Urban Design. Through the non-profit organization
NUDA which he founded in 2006, the idea of broader mindset and professional diversity
have manifested itself through the many international and regional conferences
held, academies produced and network of knowledge established.
He has been involved in a majority of projects and clearly defined the essence
of Integrated Urban Design as an overarching way of thinking as collective entity
of multi-disiplinary skills. He has lectured in interior design and conceptual
design for several years, worked with a broad diversity of projects covering planning,
design, architecture, strategic development and guidelines, property development
and concept development. He is also a profiled keynote speaker.
The years of establishing NUDA has provided him with excellent skills of facilitating
conferences and academies on all different levels. Heading program development
and logistics on an local, regional and international level is one of many key
strengths that FIG benefits tremendously of. He is well skilled and experienced
with political environments that requires direct communications with politicians
on a local, regional and national level.
Håkon specialises in strategic concept development on macro and micro level,
analysis and strategic design implementation on macro and micro level that includes
interior architecture, architecture, community planning, town planning and city
planning, master plans, urban design guidelines, possibility studies and master
plan frameworks. He has a direct and strong design feel. He pursues radical design
solutions with an out-spring of conceptual thoughts and a philosophy smartly consistant
with how the world and needs are changing.
