NUDAs strategy is to become the most important and progressive organisation within
the Nordic countries promoting and educating urban design.
The strategic establishment
of Nordic Urban Design Conference and NUDA Education Program will institute NUDA
with the necessary position as the most important facilitator of education for
planners, urban designers, architects within urban design and place-making.
NUDA creates opportunities for networking and for exploring opportunities for
collaboration with a wide range of professionals, international organisations
and companies. NUDA will within a strategic timeline of 5 years become an international organisation producing annual high profile conferences,
seminars, workshops, projects, research, education and other events within the
Nordic countries which will create strong international networks for Nordic urban
designers, architects, planners, landscape designers and students within these
fields of profession.
Through establishing web-based forums for debates and discussions
and engage in the interface between city planning, education and politics, NUDA
will stronger manifest the necessity of urban design as a way of thinking, profession
and tool within nordic city planning and strategic urban design.
